The 100 Day Project

This year I decided to do the 100 day project. I am creating art out of vintage flash cards. I am using all the tips and techniques that I have learned recently from the classes that I have been taking recently.

I have started stitching on everything I touch. My husband bought me a nice sewing machine a few years ago and I have not touched it until recently. Now I use it a couple of times a day. I love it.

After I have a few more days completed I will start a gallery on my website but for now you can follow along on my Instagram .

The 100 Day Project is a collective challenge that happens around the world every Spring. For the most part it is a simple daily creative project. Most people will try to set a time limit they spend on this. That will set you up for success if you keep it simple. Their website explains it well. Go over and check it out.

Creativity has always been a large part of my life. I believe that everyone is a creative, some people just have not discovered their passion yet. My goal is to share the message, “Go Forth and Create!”

Mixed media is my love. I thrive on the freedom of working in any medium I want and combining watercolor, ink, acrylics, fabrics-everything is fair game.

Living in Alaska, I am surrounded by beauty. I find the scenery and the people equally inspiring. the world is endlessly providing inspiration and my mission is to take full advantage. My favorites include color, nature, family, books, people and so much more.
