2022 Focus Word ::: Honor

Choosing a Focus Word for the year can be a struggle for me at times. I think because I have sooooooo many words I can choose from.

I really try to focus on the word all year. I think it is less pressure than a stack of goals that I can never measure up to. I still have goals but I use the Focus Word as the starting point for those goals.

I decided to focus on HONOR this year. I want to be better about self care this year. I truly believe that when I honor myself I can better honor the ones I love.

I am using this journal this year to put all my hopes, dreams and wishes in. I am just adding simple sketches and a little journaling in this spread. I am trying not to overthink it.

Creativity has always been a large part of my life. I believe that everyone is a creative, some people just have not discovered their passion yet. My goal is to share the message, “Go Forth and Create!”

Mixed media is my love. I thrive on the freedom of working in any medium I want and combining watercolor, ink, acrylics, fabrics-everything is fair game.

Living in Alaska, I am surrounded by beauty. I find the scenery and the people equally inspiring. the world is endlessly providing inspiration and my mission is to take full advantage. My favorites include color, nature, family, books, people and so much more.
