Tru-Ray Construction Paper is a higher quality paper without the higher price. I put gesso on it and I use watercolor, acrylics, soft pastels and stabilo pencils on it. It holds up.
I use inexpensive watercolor paper that is pretty thick. It holds up to most of mediums.
I really thought about what palette I would recommend. There are so many out there. The reason I settled on this one is that the pigments are bright and fun. It comes with a brush and it is compact. Perfect for homeschooling.
These pens are not water-soluble so you can draw with them and then go over them with your watercolors and they will not bleed.
Posca Pens are great for adding details to your final steps. Note: make sure all the mediums have dried or you will ruin the pen.
These are great for daily art journaling. Add some gesso and the pages hold up.
I like watercolor pencils over regular colored pencils because you can use them in both ways. As a colored pencil or as a watercolor.
This glue works as a gel medium and a glue stick.
This is page prep before you add medium to your art. Let it dry completely.
Inexpensive painst will work great for all your projects.
You need something to hold the supplies that is mobile. It keeps the supplier organized and less mess.
